South Pacific Private is Australia’s leading treatment centre for addiction, trauma and mental health conditions such as depression and anxiety.

Welcome to South Pacific Private

Fleur Wood, CEO

For 30 years, South Pacific Private on Sydney’s Northern Beaches has been at the forefront of addiction and mental health treatment. Our team is proud to have helped over 14,000 people and their families start their recovery journey and find freedom.

Opening in 1993, South Pacific Private became Australia’s very first treatment centre equipped to treat addiction, trauma and mental health conditions in parallel – and to treat them within an integrated, holistic program that incorporates partners, friends and family. We believe our pioneering program offers the best treatment available in the southern hemisphere because it brings together physical, psychological and emotional healing.

It’s an approach which has made South Pacific Private Australia’s leading treatment centre, a position we proudly maintain today.

As a fully-accredited, 54-bed private hospital, South Pacific Private offers the very highest levels of clinical expertise. Every client is welcomed by a full team of specialists dedicated to providing wraparound support including medical detox, specialist nursing care, psychiatric assessment and treatment, counselling, psychotherapy, group therapy, educational lectures and ongoing, individualised case management.

As well as our comprehensive inpatient program, we offer day programs, online programs and a variety of specialised workshops. We pride ourselves on accessibility and affordability, with most of our services covered by major private insurers.

Whether you’re considering treatment for the first time, worried about a loved one or seeking to fortify your recovery skills, South Pacific Private is committed to delivering expert support with the highest levels of respect, inclusivity, compassion and care.

We have several robust outcome measures in place, including participation in the nationwide Health of the Nation Outcome Study (hoNOS), PHQ14 and the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS).
