Dr. David Mee-Lee
David Mee-Lee, M.D., is Senior Vice President for The Change Companies®. He is a board-certified psychiatrist, and is certified by the American Board of Addiction Medicine (ABAM). He trains and consults both nationally and internationally.

Dr. Mee-Lee is also Chief Editor of the Revised Second Edition of the ASAM Criteria.
Dr. Mee-Lee has over 30 years’ experience in person-centered treatment and program development for people with co-occurring mental health and substance use conditions.

Dr. Mee-Lee earned his medical degree from the University of Queensland, Australia, in 1972. He earned an M.S. in Psychiatry from Ohio State University in 1976.

Dr. Mee-Lee has published many papers and book chapters on addiction. Among a variety of instruments he has
co-authored is an instrument for individualized treatment planning, the Recovery Attitude and Treatment Evaluator (RAATE).

Sharon Wegscheider- Cruse

Sharon is a nationally known consultant, educator, and author. She is a family therapist and has conducted workshops around the world and consulted with school systems, business and industry, treatment centres, and counselling agencies.  She also serves as the founding chairperson of the National Association for Children of Alcoholics (NACOA).

She has won awards in communication and has appeared on "The Oprah Winfrey Show", "The Phil Donahue Show", "Good Morning America", and countless other TV and radio shows both in the United States and Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada.

Sharon's family roles - family hero, scapegoat, lost child and mascot have been used by counselling centres, business and industry and have become part of main stream conversation. Her words and her wisdom about women and their issues have changed countless lives, one book at a time.

Dr. Joseph R Cruse

Joe Cruse, MD, is an oncologist-surgeon, an addiction medicine specialist, author, writer and lecturer.  He is the Founding Medical Director of the Betty Ford Center at Eisenhower Medical Center and also served as President of the medical staff at Eisenhower.  He served for 8 years on the California State Alcohol-Drug Advisory Board and 12 years on the California Medical Association’s Impaired Physician’s Help Committee.  He has been a guest on “60 Minutes”, “Good Morning America”, and “The Late Night Show”.  He has been featured in magazines in the U.S., Australia and the U.K.

Dr. Cruse was instrumental in guiding South Pacific through the implementation of our smoke free policy and his books and other material are used to support patients to beat their nicotine addiction.

Dr. Pat Love

Dr. Pat Love is a distinguished professor, author, trainer and long-standing licensed marriage and family therapist.  At the beginning of her career, she became the first trainer and workshop presenter in Imago Relationship Therapy and is now Faculty Emeritus in Imago Relationships International. She brought Imago Therapy and well as her training as a marriage and family therapist to the recovery community through workshops, aftercare groups and couples consultation. Her passion for improving relationships led her to co-found the Austin Family Institute which today offers training, therapy and supervision.

For thirty years, Pat has contributed to relationship education and therapy through her research, books, articles, training programs, speaking and media appearances. Pat has published several professional articles, served as a guest author in several professional books and developed relationship education media and materials being used nationally and internationally. Her ever-popular books The Truth About Love, Hot Monogamy and How to Improve Your Relationship Without Talking About It have literally taken her around the world spreading the good news about love and relationships.  Her newest book is Never Be Lonely Again appeals to a wide audience both individuals and couples and provides expert guidance through third stage recovery.

Pat is in demand as an expert presenter at national and international conferences. She has appeared numerous times on Oprah, The Today Show and CNN, and is a regular contributor to popular magazines. Pat has co-hosted three DVD training programs: Living Love, Parenting with the Experts and Love: Everything You Need to Know—which is currently available on public television. Her current projects include writing, traveling, lending a hand, supporting and hanging out with friends and family—and having fun at every opportunity.
